March – Bike Polo Offense

In March, as a club, we are focusing on creating scoring chances, moving with purpose, and staying engaged even when we're not the person with the ball.

Why Offense Matters

Offense matters because bike polo is a team sport, and good offense depends on more than the person holding the ball. Reading space, timing a pass, and staying involved off the ball all make a team more unstoppable and more fun to play with. This month is about building those habits together, not just chasing individual highlights.

Offense Focus for March

This month is about steady, observable habits:

  1. Creating scoring opportunities

  2. Taking purposeful shots

  3. Using space effectively

  4. Supporting offensive plays off the ball

  5. Making smart passes

  6. Staying engaged when not scoring

Bingo Card

This bingo card provides structure. It highlights the habits and skills we're focusing on this month. You will likely fill in many squares naturally simply by showing up to pick up, and playing bike polo.

What "Success" Looks Like

Success in March doesn't necessarily mean winning games or scoring goals. It can mean:

  • Recognizing an open teammate before taking a shot

  • Feeling more comfortable moving without the ball

  • Trying an offensive idea you haven't tried before

  • Staying engaged even during a quiet stretch of a game

Come play with us at Gateway Park in Travelers Rest on Tuesday evenings and Saturday afternoons, or at Malvern Hills Park in Asheville on Sunday afternoons. Try a drill, fill in a BINGO square or two, or simply enjoy the company. Everyone's welcome.
